How we worked it out
- 2G calls: Fido has no 2G network.
- 4G bands: Shares 4G bands with Fido: B2, B4, B5, B12.
- 4G calling: Fido only enables 4G calling on approved phones, and we haven't confirmed this one.
Fido runs on Rogers's network, so it uses Rogers's masts and bands.
About 2G: Rogers is retiring 2G on 30 November 2027 and already charges customers still using it, so we don't count 2G as a way to make calls.
About 4G calling: Fido asks customers bringing a phone to confirm with the maker that it's certified for 4G calling.
