Dumb TVs in Canada
A TV that shows what you plug into it or tune in, and nothing else: no apps to set up, no account, no adverts on the home screen and nothing sending what you watch back to the maker. Every one below is sold in Canada, and we only list it once its manual or maker confirms it works without the internet.

Sylvox 22" 12 V RV TV with DVD player (Non Smart) No smart features · 22" · Full HD Has a TV tuner from $363
Three kinds of plain TV
No smart features: an ordinary TV with a tuner and HDMI ports, and no internet at all. Mostly smaller sizes from smaller brands.
Commercial displays: screens made for shops and offices. Many have no tuner, so they need a set-top box, and their speakers can be basic, but they're sold in large sizes without a smart home screen.
Smart, works offline: a smart TV whose maker or manual says you can skip the network and account during setup and use it as a plain TV. We only list one when a source says so.
