Getting your attention back
A minimalist phone keeps the tools that make life easier, like calls, texts and sometimes maps, music or a hotspot, and leaves out the feeds that are built to keep you scrolling.
Some people switch completely. Others keep a smartphone at home on Wi-Fi for banking and photos, and carry the minimalist phone when they go out.
