Does the Punkt MP02 work on Fido?

We can't confirm Fido enables 4G calling on this phone, which it needs to make calls. We don't recommend it for Fido until we can.

How we worked it out

2G calls: Fido has no 2G network.
4G bands: Shares 4G bands with Fido: B2, B4, B5, B7, B12.
4G calling: Fido only enables 4G calling on approved phones, and we haven't confirmed this one.

Fido runs on Rogers's network, so it uses Rogers's masts and bands.

About 2G: Rogers is retiring 2G on 30 November 2027 and already charges customers still using it, so we don't count 2G as a way to make calls.

About 4G calling: Fido asks customers bringing a phone to confirm with the maker that it's certified for 4G calling.
