What to look for
Buttons you can feel and read without glasses, a ringer loud enough to hear from the next room, and a charging dock or cradle so the phone is always ready. Some phones have an emergency button on the back that calls or texts chosen contacts: tick "Emergency button" above to see them.
A phone that's easy to use is no good if it can't make calls. Older phones often relied on 2G or 3G, which networks are switching off, so pick the network above and we'll only show phones we've confirmed.
