Does the Geemarc CL9000 work on GoMo?
Calls and texts work on GoMo using 2G. They'll stop working when 2G is switched off unless 4G calling gets enabled.
How we worked it out
- 2G calls: The phone supports 2G and GoMo's 2G network is still on (GoMo uses eir's network).
- 4G bands: Shares 4G bands with GoMo: B1, B3, B8, B20, B28.
- 4G calling: We haven't confirmed whether GoMo enables 4G calling on this phone.
GoMo runs on eir's network, so it uses eir's masts and bands.
About 2G: eir keeps 2G: calls and texts on phones without 4G calling move onto it. eir finishes switching off 3G on 28 October 2026.
About 4G calling: eir doesn't publish a list of phones that get 4G calling.
