Virgin Plus runs on Bell's masts but keeps its own list of phones it enables 4G calling on, so a report for Bell doesn't confirm a phone on Virgin Plus. A problem on Bell does count against it.

Virgin Plus runs on Bell's network, so it uses Bell's masts and bands.
About 2G: Bell never ran a 2G GSM network: its older network was CDMA, shut down by April 2018. Bell says phones not certified for 4G calling on Bell lose calls when 3G closes.
