How we worked it out

2G calls: Freedom Mobile has no 2G network.
4G bands: Shares 4G bands with Freedom Mobile: B4, B7.
4G calling: Freedom Mobile only enables 4G calling on approved phones, and we haven't confirmed this one.

About 2G: Freedom never ran a 2G network: it launched on 3G, and says phones without 4G calling can't make calls where there's no 3G signal.

About 4G calling: Freedom checks 4G calling phone by phone: its compatibility checker lists the models it supports, and other phones go to an IMEI check.
