Does the Nubia (ZTE) Cymbal 2 work on Chatr?
Works
Calls and texts should work on Chatr, including over 4G.
How we worked it out
- 2G calls: Chatr has no 2G network.
- 4G bands: Shares 4G bands with Chatr: B2, B4, B5, B7, B12, B66.
- 4G calling: Reported working on Chatr.
Reports for this network
- Chatr sells the Nubia Cymbal 2 and marks it "VoLTE enabled". Source
Chatr runs on Rogers's network, so it uses Rogers's masts and bands.
About 2G: Rogers is retiring 2G on 30 November 2027 and already charges customers still using it, so we don't count 2G as a way to make calls.
About 4G calling: Chatr marks the phones it sells as "VoLTE enabled"; it doesn't promise 4G calling on others.
