Does the HMD 2660 Flip 4G work on eir?

Works (on 2G)

Calls and texts work on eir using 2G. They'll stop working when 2G is switched off unless 4G calling gets enabled.

Last checked 23 October 2026.

How we worked it out

2G calls: The phone supports 2G and eir's 2G network is still on.
4G bands: Shares 4G bands with eir: B1, B3, B8, B20, B28, B40.
4G calling: The phone doesn't support 4G calling (VoLTE).

Reports for this network

eir sells the HMD 2660 on prepay, but eir still runs 2G, so that doesn't show 4G calling works. Source

About 2G: eir keeps 2G: calls and texts on phones without 4G calling move onto it. eir finishes switching off 3G on 28 October 2026.

About 4G calling: eir doesn't publish a list of phones that get 4G calling.
