Does the HMD 2660 Flip 4G work on Clear Mobile?

Works (on 2G)

Calls and texts work on Clear Mobile using 2G. They'll stop working when 2G is switched off unless 4G calling gets enabled.

Last checked 23 October 2026.

How we worked it out

2G calls: The phone supports 2G and Clear Mobile's 2G network is still on (Clear Mobile uses Vodafone's network).
4G bands: Shares 4G bands with Clear Mobile: B1, B3, B7, B8, B20, B28.
4G calling: The phone doesn't support 4G calling (VoLTE).

Reports for Vodafone

Clear Mobile runs on Vodafone's masts but keeps its own list of phones it enables 4G calling on, so a report for Vodafone doesn't confirm a phone on Clear Mobile. A problem on Vodafone does count against it.

Vodafone's own device guide for the HMD 2660 Flip says 4G calling (VoLTE): No. Source

Clear Mobile runs on Vodafone's network, so it uses Vodafone's masts and bands.

About 2G: Vodafone has no plan to switch off 2G, which carries its core voice coverage. Its 3G network closed in October 2024.

About 4G calling: Vodafone lists phones that support 4G Calling when bought from Vodafone, and says phones bought elsewhere might not.
