How we worked it out

2G calls: Boost Mobile has no 2G network.
4G bands: Shares 4G bands with Boost Mobile: B1, B3, B7, B8, B28.
4G calling: Boost Mobile only enables 4G calling on approved phones, and we haven't confirmed this one.

Boost Mobile runs on Telstra's network, so it uses Telstra's masts and bands.

About 2G: Telstra switched off 2G on 1 December 2016 and 3G on 28 October 2024.

About 4G calling: Boost needs a phone with 4G calling and band 28; without it you can't make calls.
