Simple phones that work on Optus
The Australian Government says all 3G networks are now off; Optus and Telstra switched off in November 2024.
- 2G: Off. Optus switched off 2G on 1 August 2017 (April 2017 in WA and the NT), and began switching off 3G on 28 October 2024.
- 4G calling for phones they didn't sell: Approved phones only. Optus offers 4G calling on compatible phones bought from Optus, and blocks phones that can't call 000 over 4G.
