Does the TCL OneTouch 4042S work on 2degrees?
Works
Calls and texts should work on 2degrees, including over 4G.
How we worked it out
- 2G calls: 2degrees has no 2G network.
- 4G bands: Shares 4G bands with 2degrees: B1, B3, B8, B28.
- 4G calling: Reported working on 2degrees.
Reports for this network
- 'TCL 4042S: Yes' on 2degrees VoLTE list; sold with 2degrees SIM Source
About 2G: 2degrees closed 2G in March 2018 and 3G on 2 February 2026.
About 4G calling: 2degrees lists phones that work with 4G calling, but says a 4G calling setting alone doesn't guarantee it and some phones only get it when bought from 2degrees.
