Does the Opel Mobile 4G HomePhone 2 work on Slingshot?

We can't confirm Slingshot enables 4G calling on this phone, which it needs to make calls. We don't recommend it for Slingshot until we can.

How we worked it out

2G calls: Slingshot has no 2G network.
4G bands: Shares 4G bands with Slingshot: B1, B3, B8, B28.
4G calling: Slingshot only enables 4G calling on approved phones, and we haven't confirmed this one.

Slingshot runs on 2degrees's network, so it uses 2degrees's masts and bands.

About 2G: 2degrees closed 2G in March 2018 and 3G on 2 February 2026.

About 4G calling: 2degrees says 4G calling needs a phone it has certified, publishes the list, and says some phones only get it when bought from 2degrees.
